MR. TINY TIM
Herbert Butros Khaury a.k.a. Larry Love a.k.a. Tiny Tim, was born April 12, 1932. Tiny Tim passed away on Nov. 30th 1996.
Mr. Tiny Tim, a native of Washington Heights in upper Manhattan in New York City, burst on to the national pop culture radar in 1968 with his Top Forty hit "Tip-Toe Thru the Tulips With Me," but Tiny Tim was far from an overnight sensation. As "Larry Love" in the fifties he had worked the gay and lesbian bars in NYC's Greenwich Village. Eventually he took the name Tiny Tim and utilized his ability to sing in his trademark falsetto voice.
